Trout Fishing on the Lower Napetipi

The trout species fished are Brook trout which can be caught while fishing for salmon. They are caught from June to September and are mostly in the 1 pound weight range but up to 3 pounders have been caught.

The sea-run speckled usually enter the river system in late July and early August in numerous numbers and have been caught up to 5 pounds, but mostly in the 1 to 3 pound weight range.

Catch and Release Salmon Fishing

As of year 2007 all Salmon caught has to be released, grilse and salmon from pools of  the upper Napetipi Lake upwards ( the sanctuary )   has a no keep rule.  Sport fishers will have the chance to experience an even greater catch success rate.

There will still be a limit for 5 grilse only for the year 2007, and 3 grilse for 2008. A decision will be made in 2008 for the 2009 year quota.

First Year Only Booking Special

  • $2600.00 per person Prime Fishing Weeks (July 4 to August 3)
  • $2200.00 per person Regular weeks (June 10 to July 4 & August 3 to September 14)

2nd year rates / Salmon and Trout (Fly In Fishing)

  • $3,400 per person ( Prime fishing weeks - July 4 to August 03 )
  • $2,400 per person ( trout and / or salmon - June 10 to July 4 & Aug 03 to Sept. 14th)

Camp Information

The camp is located on Lac Parame, which is at the north west end of Napetipi Lake. We use ATV's for the trail from Napetipi Lake to Lac Parame, approx. 10 minute ride.
